The Dutch Kennel Club ‘Raad van Beheer’ is the official organisation that looks after the relationship between dogs and people. This not only concerns activities which you could undertake with your dog, like sport and show, but also breeding healthy dogs.
The Raad van Beheer has been founded in 1902 and is an association of club members. This means our members are breed clubs, dog training clubs and specialized canine clubs.
We have more than 300 club members which represent more than 120.000 dog lovers all over The Netherlands.
The Dutch Kennel Club ‘Raad van Beheer’ is affiliated with and founding member of the Fédération Cynologique Internationale (FCI), the World Canine Organisation.
